The Senate introduced a resolution against the impeachment of Trump

Republican Senator Lindsay Graham introduced a resolution to the Senate condemning the impeachment proceedings initiated by Congress.

Republican Senate judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham has introduced a resolution condemning a congressional investigation that could lead to the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

According to the author of the resolution against impeachment, his initiative was supported by 39 senators from the Republican party. Graham believes that trump should be able to respond to the allegations, and the investigation launched against him is “illegitimate and dangerous”.

Resolutions of the U.S. House of representatives and Senate have no legal force and are Advisory in nature.

Recall, impeachment procedure initiated when it became clear that during July conversation with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky trump asked it to begin investigation against hunter Biden, the son of the former Vice-President of the USA Joe Biden.
