Erdogan invited Johnson to meet at the border with Syria

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that he had invited British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron to meet in Istanbul or the Turkish cities of Urfa and Gaziantep, bordering Syria.

“Two days ago, Boris Johnson called me and offered to meet the four of us with Merkel and Macron in London. I replied that it is better in Istanbul or in Urfa or Gaziantep close to the border”, –  Erdogan told Turkish journalists on Board the plane, returning from Sochi. He was quoted by Haberturk.

According to the Turkish leader, if his colleagues refuse to come to Turkey, such a meeting can take place in London on the sidelines of the summit of NATO leaders on December 3-4.
