Counterterrorism issues will be discussed at the Russia-Africa summit in Sochi, Deputy Foreign Minister Oleg Syromolotov said.
“Of course, this topic (counterterrorism) is so in demand in the world, the spread of terrorism in Africa is very serious. Especially north and central Africa. Of course, they will, these issues will arise, anyway. Because at such summits except, say, economic issues, security issues always arise. Since security issues (arise), then there will be counter-terrorism”, – Syromolotov told reporters.
The Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum will be held in Sochi on October 23-24. The summit invited the leaders of all 54 states of the continent. The co-chairs of the summit are Russia and Egypt.
