The People’s Police Directorate of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic announced the destruction of two unmanned aerial vehicles of Ukrainian security forces in the sky over the contact line in the Donbass over the past day.
“The DPR air defense units continue to effectively ensure the republic’s security against enemy threats from the air. As a result of skillful actions, the enemy lost two unmanned aerial vehicles at once”, – a representative of the DPR People’s Police told reporters.
He explained that one of the Mavik-type unmanned aerial vehicles was destroyed in the south of the republic near the village of Kominternovo at the time of the adjustment of the fire. The second was found in the sky in the area of the separation of forces and equipment in the vicinity of the village of Petrovskoye. It fell into a minefield.
