At the Sochi airport, delegates are greeted with bread and salt – a girl in a Russian national costume holds a loaf, next to her there is a young man in a Cossack uniform. Meeting officials explain that according to the Russian tradition of hospitality, guests should try a loaf.
The Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum will be held in Sochi on October 23-24. The summit invited the leaders of all 54 states of the continent. The co-chairs of the summit are Russia and Egypt.
