Serbian Minister of Defense spoke about military equipment received from Russia

The military equipment handed over to Russia by Serbia strengthened the national Armed Forces, said Serbian Minister of Defense Alexander Vulin on Monday.

“MiG planes are in good condition, they are flying”, – Wulin said during talks with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, which took place on the sidelines of the Beijing Xiangshan Forum.

According to the minister, Russian-made BRDM-2 combat vehicles also strengthened the Armed Forces of Serbia.

“We are very proud that Russian weapons were with us at the military parade in Belgrade, which was held to mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the city from Nazi invaders”, – said Vulin.

He thanked Shoigu for his personal participation in the development of the military-technical cooperation of Russia and Serbia. “It is developing as we agreed”, – the minister said.

According to him, Serbia will never introduce anti-Russian sanctions, and while Alexander Vučić remains the head of the republic, the country will never become a member of NATO.
