Turkish army occupied the city of Ras Al Ain

The Arab-Kurdish units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) left the border town of Ras al-Ain with Turkey, the Turkish army occupied the city, the state television of Syria reports.

Earlier on October 12, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reported that the Turkish military and the Syrian armed opposition took control of Ras al-Ain. In turn, the representative of the SDF said on Saturday that the withdrawal of forces from the border with Turkey will begin after Turkey allows them to evacuate the remaining fighters and civilians from the encircled border town of Ras al-Ain.
