Airplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the territory of the Taftanaz airbase in the Syrian province of Idlib, which was captured by militants of the Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist group.

According to media reports, Russian aviation inflicted more than a dozen attacks on the territory of the air base and its environs. As a result of this operation, the infrastructure of jihadists and even a convoy of militants who were sent as reinforcements to confront the Syrian Arab army was destroyed.
It is also reported that the bombing overtook the terrorist fortress in the city of Rekaya. Presumably here is one of the main command centers of the Khayyat Tahrir Al-Sham group.
