Medvedev thanks the Serbs for the memory of the heroism of Soviet soldiers

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev thanked the Serbs for their attention to the graves of Soviet soldiers who died in World War II.

“About 8 thousand Soviet soldiers and officers rest in your land, and over 4 thousand died only during the Belgrade operation. And, of course, it is very important for us that in Serbia they remember their heroism and courage, carefully take care of the graves of Soviet soldiers. All Russia is sincerely grateful to you for this,” said Medvedev, speaking in the People’s Assembly (Parliament) of Serbia.
