Future Prime Minister of Kosovo intends to “squeeze” Serbia from the North of Kosovo

On October 17, the leader of the Kosovo party “Vetëvendosje” , Albin Kurti, called the strong presence of Serbia a problem in the development of northern Kosovo.

According to Albanian news agency “Telegrafi”, Kurti said his government intends to work with local Serbs, who also suffer from Serbian dominance in northern Kosovo.

“We must go to the north of Kosovo, go to serve. <…> We must become a government that will serve every resident of Kosovo, whether it is a Serb or an Albanian. Northern and southern Trepča  must unite, and after the unification of Trepča, Mitrovica will also unite. We need investments in Trepcha. Pristina, that is, our government, did not invest in Trepča, only Serbia. There shouldn’t be more of this”, – added he.
