The Ukrainian security forces violated the ceasefire in the Donbass 144 times over the past week, as a result of shelling two civilians were injured, said on Monday at a representative office of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire.
Earlier, the department reported 130 violations by Ukrainian security forces recorded in the previous week.
“During the period from September 30 to October 7, 144 violations of the ceasefire were recorded by the armed forces of Ukraine. As a result of the shelling, two civilians were injured,” a representative of the DPR in the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination told reporters.
According to him, the Ukrainian security forces fired more than 200 mines and shells across the republic. As a result of the shelling, 30 houses and four civilian infrastructure were damaged.
