Units of the People’s Police of the DPR are fully prepared for the demilitarization of the military contact line.
This was announced on Monday, October 7, the official representative of the defense department of the republic Rinat Aigistov.
He recalled that today Donetsk has already transmitted to the staff of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission information about the whereabouts of the armament of the People’s Police, as well as about the planned storage location after the completion of the demilitarization.
“The command of the People’s Police of the DPR declares that all units, according to the plan, are carrying out training activities aimed at the speedy implementation of the framework decision adopted by the contact group on September 21, 2016 on the separation of forces and assets in the Petrovsky area”, – Aigistov said.
He emphasized that the DPR defense department supports peaceful initiatives to resolve the conflict in the Donbass.
Earlier, News Front reported on the principle by which the process of demilitarization of the line of contact should take place, however, the Ukrainian side today sabotaged the withdrawal of forces.
