At least ten people injured by a grenade in Kashmir

At least 10 people were injured in a grenade undermining on Saturday in the city of Anantnaga in India-controlled part of Kashmir, the region police reported.

Law enforcement agencies do not provide details of the incident, only noting that there is a policeman and a journalist among the wounded.

Meanwhile, according to local media, a grenade was allegedly blown up by members of one of the terrorist cells operating in Kashmir. The attack was committed near one of the government buildings. Now the victims are in the hospital, nothing threatens their lives.

The police are investigating the incident and searching for criminals. The blast area is cordoned off, law enforcement officers interrogate witnesses to the incident.

None of the extremist groups operating in Kashmir have so far claimed responsibility for what happened.
