Muslims all over the world must come forward in a holy war, not only against the United States or Israel, but also against Europe and Russia, leader of the al-Qaida terrorist organization Ayman al-Zawahiri said in his half-hour video message, which was distributed on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
“If you intend to concentrate jihad solely on military facilities, then the US Armed Forces have bases around the world,” said al-Zawahiri to Muslims. “Countries have flooded the US military bases with their infidels and corrupt people.”
He also criticized the decision of Donald Trump to recognize the Golan Heights as Israeli territory, in connection with which he called on Palestinians to attack the Jewish state, and at the same time called on all Muslims in the world to join the global jihad “against both American and Israeli targets, and against European and Russian.”
Ayman al-Zawahiri led al-Qaeda after Osama bin Laden was liquidated in May 2011. Al-Zahiri, according to some reports, takes refuge at the Afghan-Pakistani border.
