Three civilians were killed in an attack by unknown militants in the Syrian province of Deir Ez-Zor.
It was reported on Wednesday, September 11,by local information resources report.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the small city of Diban, located south of Deir Ez-Zora near the Euphrates River. Terrorists opened fire in the very center of the village, killing three residents and several wounds. After that, the attackers fled the scene of the incident on a motorcycle.
Among the victims there are children, all of them were taken to local hospitals, as well as the hospital in the neighboring city of At-Tayan.
The site of the attack has now been cordoned off by the forces of pro-American armed gangs, which serve here as “law enforcement”. They believe that the so-called sleeping cells of the Islamic State terrorist organization may be behind the attack.
As reported by News Front, earlier in this region, Islamic state militants distributed leaflets threatening reprisals against local residents who joined the Kurdish group Syrian Democratic Forces. Leaflets with a list of names appeared at the entrances to the mosques of the village of Abu Hardub.
