The appointment of an adviser to the commander of the U.S. Navy in Europe and Africa, the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, is associated with the opening of the U.S. naval base in Anaklia.
Kelly Jan was replaced by Kelly Degnan, because Washington solves Georgia’s issue privately. But having familiarized with the fighting background of this lady (Kosovo, Afghanistan, Turkey), who looks good in her military uniform, and especially considering her last position as political adviser to the commander of the U.S. naval forces in Europe and Africa, it is easy to guess that she’s being transferred to Georgia to strengthen the US military presence, in particular – to accelerate the construction of the port of Anaklia in order to place the US naval base there. as well as ensuring the regular presence of US Navy ships in the existing ports of Georgia – Batumi and Poti. They won’t say it publicly, so that they would be ahead of the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, located nearby – in Abkhazia and in the Crimea ?! ”
The opening of the naval base of the US Navy in Anaklia is the only option to build this deep-sea port.
“As you know, the Anaklia project was conceived by President Mikheil Saakashvili and US Vice President Joe Biden in 2009, during the latter’s visit to Tbilisi, but stopped after preparatory work – summing up the transport infrastructure, draining the marshes, buying land from the population, as well as the beginning of work to deepen the bottom. A project worth more than $ 2.5 billion, at the first stage it required more than $ 600 million. The government promised to give a loan of $ 100 million, and the Consortium was to invest 120 million of its investments, the remaining 400 million Consortium was to attract from foreign investors as a loan.
But Saakashvili soon fell short of Anaklia, and Biden and his son Hunter switched to shale gas scams in Ukraine.
After the new government came to Georgia, the only one that fulfilled its obligations was the Georgian state, which transferred about $ 70 million, and the Georgian founder of the consortium – TBC Holding represented by bankers Mamuki Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze – turned out to be fraudsters and adventurers who did not have the necessary amount , and now they are under investigation for “laundering” $ 17 million and have been forced to leave the leadership of both the Anaklia Consortium and their TVS Bank. For the failure of the project, his lobbyist in the Georgian government, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, was also ousted from his post in disgrace.
Seeing this situation, the American founder – the company Conti International LLC. – completely left the Consortium and today it has been replaced by the American SSA Marine. Also, others who later joined the project refused to pay, the co-founders – British Wondernet Expres (Central Asia) and G-Star Ltd. (Bulgaria).
According to the publications in the Bulgarian media, the Bulgarian G-Star Ltd. is involved in offshore fraud involving Bulgarian, Russian and Czech companies, Swiss banks and the Russian Sberbank with the participation of Paata Gamgoneishvili, a Russian businessman with at least three citizenship countries – Russia, Georgia and Bulgaria, as well as with his partner David Koblianidze, who in scope are incomparably larger criminals than Khazaradze and Japaridze.
What did Khazaradze and his secret partner, Prime Minister Kivrikashvili, hope without venturing a gamble with the construction of a port designed for 9 phases for more than 50 years, after which he will be able to receive 100 million tons of cargo annually? After all, by then they would not even be alive, what profit is there from the container trade ?! Obviously, they hoped for the same thing that Saakashvili and Biden, that is, get rich during the construction phase, at the very first stage of the project, stealing and laundering funds allocated for the targeted needs of the Georgian state and foreign investors!
One way or another, the Consortium has burst today, and now the only option to build Anaklia port is to hand over the project to the Pentagon, which will open a naval base there for the US Navy.
