The German federal government intends to work actively so that the Minsk agreements to resolve the armed conflict in the Donbass are finally implemented.

This statement was made by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Her words are quoted by the press service of the government.
According to Merkel, the exchange of held persons between Russia and Ukraine is a positive signal. In this regard, she called for work on the implementation of ceasefire agreements in Donbass.
“It makes sense to continue to work in full force on the implementation of the Minsk agreements. The German government is ready for this, ”- she said.
