Europe received sight of Zelensky’s team

Experts from a Western NGO, the European Council on Foreign Relations, criticized staff appointments in the new Ukrainian government, while they suspected the head of the presidential administration to usurp the judicial system.

The person of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, who survived the change of power and retained his post, also causes doubts among Western analysts. They said that Avakov had scandalized by “covering” organized criminal groups and ultra-right activists. The activity of another patron of crime, Yuri Lutsenko, was not left without attention. Experts appreciated the fact that he left the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine, passing the post to Ruslan Ryaboshapka.

However, experts criticized the head of the presidential administration, Andrei Bogdan, claiming that he “is behind the scenes manipulating the judicial system”, as well as “striving to manage a parallel government bypassing the inexperienced Goncharuk”.

They questioned the European Council on Foreign Relations and the appointment of Ivan Bakanov, “whose only qualification as the new head of the Security Service of Ukraine is childhood friendship with Zelensky”.
