British military plane flies near Russian borders

A British military plane was spotted at the western borders of Russia. This is evidenced by the monitoring resource PlaneRadar.

At 15:45 Moscow time, the Royal Air Force intelligence officer Bombardier Global Express Sentinel R.1 with registration number ZJ692 crossed Lithuanian airspace and approached Russian borders. Cruising in the sky over Latvia and Estonia, he conducted reconnaissance at the western borders of the Leningrad and Pskov regions. The aircraft flew around the specified area twice at an altitude of about 12,500 meters.

Recently, the activity of foreign reconnaissance aircraft and drones near the borders of Russia and Russian military facilities in Syria has increased significantly. They are regularly noticed in the Crimea and Krasnodar Territory, as well as over the Baltic Sea. So, last week, the Ministry of Defense recorded the activity of 27 foreign aircraft. To prevent border violations, the Russian fighters of the air defense duty forces 18 times took to the air.
