American senators Ron Johnson and Chris Murphy arrived in Ukraine. According to the US Embassy in Kiev, they will hold a series of meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian government.
“We are pleased to welcome Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin and Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut in Kiev, where they will have meetings with Ukrainian officials on a strong partnership between Ukraine and the United States”, – the US diplomatic agency said.
American politicians have already met with the new prosecutor general Ruslan Ryaboshapka. During the meeting, he shared with senators his views on anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine.
