Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Mayo said he will focus on the questins concerning Africa and migration.
“My efforts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be aimed at internationalizing our system of economics, production and research and increasing the number of channels for international cooperation,”- he wrote on his Facebook.
According to the minister, the new global challenges and the new multipolar world are radically transforming the way foreign policy is conducted and the role of Italian diplomacy.
“Attention will be paid to Africa, the topic of migration and relations with emerging economies, which will be the guidelines on which I will build my work,”- Di Mayo said.
The leader of the “5 Star Movement” Luigi Di Mayo got the post of Foreign Minister in the new government of Giuseppe Conte, who agreed to head the Council of Ministers on Wednesday and announced its composition.
In the previous government, Conte Di Mayo simultaneously served as deputy prime minister and head of the ministries of labor and economic development.
