The Presidential Administration of Moldova has developed a strategy for the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. So, the status of “very strong autonomy” is offered in Chisinau, the Transdniestrian Moldavian Republic .
It was announced by the head of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon in an interview with Spiegel.
According to his words, quite intensive work is going on in this direction, however, the matter has not yet reached negotiations.
“I would venture to note that we have the opportunity to move forward quickly enough, because today there is a favorable international consensus around Moldova,”- Dodon emphasizes.
At the same time, he noted that the Republic may be succcessful in the elimination of the frozen conflict in the post-Soviet space, and this will be the first experience in this sphere.
“PMR can receive a special status within Moldova as a very strong autonomy. Our administration has already prepared a strategy, and we are ready to show it to coalition partners, ” – Igor Dodon stated.
