Boris Johnson touches on Iran, Brexit in closing remarks at G7

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged UK MPs to help him deliver Brexit, during his closing remarks at the G7 in Biarritz on Monday.

“I really call on all my fellow MPs to deliver [the UK’s withdrawal] and I hope and believe that they will,” he stated.

Johnson also touched on the Iran nuclear issue, saying, “there is clearly an opportunity now for Iran to come back into compliance with the nuclear deal, the JCPOA, and to resume dialogue.”

The G7 summit is wrapping up on Monday in the French coastal city of Biarritz with world leaders discussing a number of global issues.
