The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued its operations around Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib Governorate to advance and move beyond the strategically important town on Thursday.
Footage shows tanks and SAA soldiers loading and firing rockets with big plumes of smoke rising in the distance.
According to an official with the SAA, capturing Khan Sheikhoun would open the way for recapturing other nearby towns such as Latmeen, Kafr Zita, Ltamenah.
“We are about to fully control Khan Sheikhon and gain access into Morek,” he said adding that a Turkish military post was located in Morek.
