The European Commission is not able to effectively respond to the new wave of migration crisis that is approaching the European Union.
According to the EC, to date, one of the countries of the Commonwealth has not yet submitted an official request to initiate coordination of a pan-European solution.
Such an insignificant bureaucratic step does not really allow Brussels to organize the distribution of migrants currently residing aboard two rescue ships of private humanitarian organizations because Malta and Italy refuse to accept ships.
In this regard, the European Commission calls on EU members for cohesion and encouraged them to help find a quick solution.
