Serbian youth supports cooperation with Russia

The majority of young people in Serbia believe that the development and building of ties with Russia should be the foreign policy vector of their country, shows the last poll conducted by sociologists of the Serbian Youth Association.

The fact that Belgrade should rely heavily on Moscow was voted by 32.7% of respondents. In second place is the EU – 21%. The USA was preferred only by 5% of young Serbs.

The explanation says that the percentage of support for Russia compared to the previous study has increased. The popularity of the EU among young people is falling, and this is a general trend present in the country.

In addition, more than half of the respondents believe that the country needs a strong leader, which will be followed by the people.
