“It violates no one’s Second Amendment right to say that you can’t own certain weapons,” said Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden when asked about gun violence at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines on Thursday. Biden added that weapons such as the AK-47 are “for no reason other than to kill people.” The Democratic presidential candidate also criticised current tax rates for the wealthy and went on to say that “the idea that we don’t reward work as much as wealth is bizarre.” The ex-vice president also mingled with the crowd and spoke to reporters. Biden is one of the frontrunners among the 24 Democratic presidential candidates. The candidate to take on Trump will be decided during the primary contest in 2020.
