US President Donald Trump referred to the wrong city in the state of Ohio during his speech in response to the two mass shootings over the weekend in Washington DC on Monday. Trump confused Dayton, the site of one of the incidents, with Toledo. “May God bless the memory of those who perished in Toledo, may God protect them. May God protect all of those from Texas to Ohio,” said the US president. At least 31 people were killed in the two mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas.
