State of Palestine: Dozens injured as Israeli forces fire live ammunition at protesters

Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Friday as Israeli forces unleashed live ammunition and tear gas at protesters at the Gaza-Israel border during the 68th consecutive week of protests.

Wounded protesters could be seen being carried away on stretchers by fellow protesters and paramedics in footage, while others used slingshots to launch projectiles at members of the Israel military.

The Great March of Return protests started in March 2018, as a non-violent protest campaign which calls for the Palestinian people’s right to return to their homes lost to Israeli forces in 1948.
