Saakashvili lost the main heralds in Georgia

The notorious Georgian opposition TV channel Rustavi 2, which became largely known because of the scandalous trick with insults to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, will change its editorial policy with the new leadership.

This was reported on Friday, July 19, by political analyst Petre Mamradze in a comment for Sputnik Georgia.

According to him, the problem of the TV channel was that all his editorial policy was dictated day by day by a fugitive ex-president of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili. “Now this will not happen. Accordingly, it can be expected that Rustavi 2 will no longer be so harsh on criticizing the authorities, ”the expert believes, not excluding, however, that this will not in the best way affect the rating of the TV channel, which risks losing its usual audience.
