Ukrainian teachers began issuing a reminder of fines for usage of the Russian language

In Kharkov schools, teachers were handed out memos of fines for using the Russian language under the law on the state language, which entered into force today, July 16 .

This was told by the teachers themselves.

Also, teachers note that during the briefing they were warned that they now only need to answer calls in Ukrainian.

Note that the document introduces a monopoly of Ukrainian in all spheres of public life. The goal is to force the Russian language out of a place where the state’s leg has never walked before: from restaurants and shops, the press, the Internet, and so on. At the same time, the “mobile police” and language qualifications for civil service work are introduced. An exception was made only for people’s deputies
