This week saw the suspension of a key international nuclear pact – the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty which was signed over 30 years ago.
On Friday, Washington announced it was pulling out of the treaty, for six months – citing alleged violations on the Russian side. Moscow reciprocated withdrawing the next day.
