Syria: Militants commander liquidated near his own house

Abu Sufyan Shami, one of the leaders of the Harakat-Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group, was liquidated in Syria, reports the specialized telegram channel Directorate 4, Tuesday, July 9, citing local sources.

According to reports, the terrorist was killed in his home as a result of the explosion of his car, under which an improvised explosive device was installed. The incident occurred in the city of Jindires, Aleppo province, located near the Syrian-Turkish border.

Abu Sufyan Shami has held senior positions in the group since 2014.
