The meetings of the defence ministers come amid heightened tensions between the US and Iran, which have led Donald Trump to impose additional sanctions on Tehran.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg delivers opening remarks to the Defence Ministers of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) and representatives of the Resolute Support Mission (RSM) on the second day of meetings at NATO headquarters in Brussels on 27 June.
A day earlier Stoltenberg said that NATO defence ministers have considered military exercises as well as surveillance and intelligence as potential response measures to the rupture of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.
