German Police Union Admits Cops Prefer Right-Wing AfD Due to Refugee Crisis

The head of one of Germany’s largest police unions confirmed a Christian Democratic Union politician’s claim that officers tend to favour the Alternative for Germany party; he explained that officers felt the national government didn’t appreciate their work amid the refugee crisis.
The vice-chair of Germany’s Union of Police, Jörg Radek, has stated that due to the refugee crisis, many officers have turned towards the right-wing Alternative for Germany party, which advocates stricter migration control.
