Germany should follow the example of Russia, which is considering the issue of introducing electronic visas for its exclave of Kaliningrad.
Gunnar Lindemann, a deputy to the Alternative for Germany party and a member of the House of Representatives in Berlin, notes the following:
“In order to facilitate free movement throughout Europe, this measure should be seen as promising.”
The celebration of free movement in the Schengen area is still incomprehensible, but the road to the east is open, as it was in the 50s.
“The federal government should follow this example,” added Lindemann.
In addition, for tourists from Russia, the process of obtaining visas should be simplified. Moreover, the time has come to help about 2,000 Crimean Germans and 500 Donbass Germans, who, as a rule, are denied entry to Germany because of the blockade policy.
It is quite simple. It is only necessary to follow the example of Russia – to act in the interests of the people.
