The airbase in the Syrian province of Homs last night was subjected to a massive attack by the Israeli Air Force.
According to reports, in just forty minutes a series of explosions thundered at the base of Al-Tiyas, and a fire started in one of the rooms. The involvement of the Israeli aviation in the attack has already been confirmed by the Syrian state media.
The attack was carried out on the arsenals with weapons and ammunition, as well as buildings located in close proximity to the warehouse complex. Air defense systems located at the base opened fire on the Israeli Air Force aircraft, however, the downed vehicles were not reported.
According to official data, one soldier of the Syrian Arab Army was killed in an air strike, four were injured. At the same time, the infrastructure of the base was seriously damaged.
Recall that Israeli aviation regularly conducts raids in Syria. Only in the last week there were three of them. On Sunday night, CAA positions in the province of Quneitra, as well as not far from the capital of the Arab Republic, were attacked.
