Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov talks to the press following a meeting with his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono in Tokyo on Friday.
The ministers are expected to discuss bilateral relations, economic cooperation and possible bilateral talks on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Osaka this year.
This will be the second working day for Lavrov in Japan, earlier on Thursday he took part in the fourth round of Russian-Japanese talks between the leaders of the foreign affairs and defence departments.
