Syria: SAA regains control over Kafr Naboudeh

The Syrian Arab Army announced it has regained control over Kafr Naboudeh in the north of Hama province on Sunday, days after militants claimed they took control over the strategic town.

Footage shows clouds of smoke billowing after shelling as well as SAA soldiers and military equipment in the liberated area.

“We had to retreat, and after two or three days we regrouped our forces to return today. By the will of God and by the will of the men we intruded Kafr Nboudeh and controlled the locations we previously held,” said a Syrian Arab army officer.

Kafr Naboudeh is a strategic city located around 15 kilometres off the Hama-Aleppo highway
