In the Syrian province of Hasakah, militants of the Kurdish formations captured about two hundred young men, including many minors, under the guise of “arrest”, report local media.
According to reports, such operations are used for the forced recruitment of fighters into the Kurdish Popular Self-Defense Detachments, which are part of the pro-American group of Syrian Democratic Forces.
Local residents have repeatedly tried to protest against forced recruitment, but this does not stop the militants.
