UK MP Clashes With Muslim Protesters Demanding to Cancel School’s LGBTQ Course

Birmingham’s Anderton Park Primary has been in the national spotlight due to 7-week-long protests against the school’s equality lessons. The stand-off recently turned violent when pro-LGBTQ protesters were attacked near the school, while the campaigners threatened a nationwide action against “okay to be gay” teaching.
The tensions between protesters against teaching the LGBTQ course at Birmingham’s Anderton Park Primary, the school’s administration, as well as the authorities, peaked on 20 May when anti-hate activists were attacked and the school’s head teacher received threats.
