The armed conflict in Syria is still far from being over, which is facilitated by the newly raging terrorist groups and their sponsors in the person of the United States and Israel, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science and Sociology, Plekhanov University, Alexander Perendzhiev said.
According to him, the new attacks planned by terrorists, including those with the use of chemical weapons, demonstrate that the West has seriously revised the policy regarding the destabilization of the situation in Syria and is ready to take extreme measures in the form. In fact, Washington takes gangs under its control to “manual control”, says the expert.
He recalled that until recently the international coalition and terrorists acted separately: “However, given that the Islamic State was defeated, and the Syrian government troops during the liberation operation reached the Idlib de-escalation zone, the anti-Syrian alliance was grouped”.
Perendzhiev believes that the situation is now complicated by the fact that it is very easy to move from fighting terrorists to open war with those who support the militants.
