Millions of Australians attended voting stations on Saturday to choose the nation’s 46th parliament, as footage from the capital Canberra shows.
The iconic Old Parliament House was one of thousands of public buildings used as venues to ensure the more than 16 million Australians who are legally obliged to vote in the federal election are able to do so before the polls close.
