Hostile Forces May Create ‘Act of War’ Prompting US to Attack Iran – Prof

Iran has announced that it will officially halt some commitments under the 2015 nuclear agreement after an order from its Supreme National Security Council, according to a senior official at the country’s Atomic Energy Agency. This comes a year after the US unilaterally withdrew from the JCPOA and has since re-imposed sanctions on Tehran.
Tehran’s decision comes after US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Washington is not looking for a war with Iran, following meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Sochi.

Again, that kind of incident is very dangerous. And I know for a fact that Iran did not do that. That wasn’t an act by Iran. This was an act by people who really want a war between the US and Iran, and there are plenty of them in the region. They are the Islamic Republic’s enemy. So they will do everything in their power to create a war. And the US sending 120,000 troops to the region and all this military machinery that they have sent, I believe it’s a war gesture, but it’s not yet a war decision. That is, I don’t believe the US has made a decision to go to war with Iran.
