Serbia will not participate in “anti-Russian hysteria” unlike Montenegro

Belgrade does not intend to engage in anti-Russian hysteria and join the sanctions, as Podgorica did. This was announced in an interview with TASS by the Minister of Defense of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin.

“Let me remind you that there are a number of countries that seemed to be great friends of Russia, such as Montenegro, which imposed sanctions against Russia. We will never do this,” he stressed. “Therefore, when we hear from certain intellectual circles in Russia, we are not Russia’s most reliable friend that we will join NATO, this is painful and insulting to us. “

“[Serbian President] Aleksandar Vucic is the only state leader in Europe who openly stated that we will not participate in anti-Russian hysteria and will not impose sanctions. And our choice must be respected,” the minister said.
