Guaido calls for ‘biggest march in history’ to topple Maduro

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido called on supporters to take to the streets on May 1, International Workers’ Day, for what he called the “the largest march in the history” of the South American country at a rally in Caracas on Friday.

“We call on all the people to join in the largest march in the history of Venezuela to demand the a definitive end to the usurpation, to demand once and for all an end to this tragedy,” Guaido told the crowd assembled at a plaza in eastern Caracas.

The opposition are trying to keep the pressure up on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to leave power.
