US President Donald Trump said he was “having a good day” in Washington DC, Thursday, as the redacted Mueller report was released exonerating him from alleged collusion with Russia.
“I’m having a good day too. It was called no collusion, no obstruction,” Trump said, while hosting participants of the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride in the White House.
Referring to the almost two-year investigation into his campaign and alleged interference in 2016 election by Russia, Trump stressed: “This should never happen to another president again, this hoax.”
After receiving a trophy from his guests, Trump said that the present would find “a permanent place at least for six years in the Oval Office.” He then added: “I was going to joke and say at least for 10 or 14 years, but we would cause bedlam, so we’ll say six.”
Earlier during the day, US Attorney General William Barr commented on the redacted Mueller report, saying that there was no collusion with Russia by US President Donald Trump or any Americans.
