In the area of the village of Baguz, the pro-American group “Syrian Democratic Forces” continues to clear the area of ISIS militants, who still remain entrenched after months of selective bombardment
In particular, US-led coalition bombed caves in the area of Jafra Hill, where, according to the representative of Kurdish militants Mustafa Bali, the remnants of jihadists were imprisoned.
However, there is an interesting detail to this “anti-terrorist organization”. As it turned out, the representatives of the US-led coalition have taken in the leaders of Kurdish terror organization imprisoned in the cave complex. One of those was Abu Suhayb al-Iraqi, who was known as the third most important person in a terrorist organization.
According to reports, he was delivered to an American base in the Al-Omar region.
Boris Rozhin, editor-in-chief of the Kassad information and analytical center notes that the United States is now trying to save their most valuable personnel from among the militants of the Islamic state.
“There are scattered militant groups in the vicinity of Baguz. They may be hiding among civilians if they havent managed to escape through the blocade. These are emirs, inghimasi and other “VIPs” who are now being evacuated by the US and allies.
According to the analyst, such evacuations are often conducted through Syrian deserts south of Deir-ez-Zor, or through Iraqi territory not controlled by authorities
