The Syrian army announced that its air defense had responded to an Israeli air strike targeting a military site in the town of Musayaf in the countryside of Hama.
Syrian news agency SANA quoted a Syrian military source as saying that at about 2.30 pm today, Israeli warplanes carried out an air strike on one of the military positions towards the city of Musayaf.
the source added that immediately the Syrian air defense intervened to face those hostile missiles and downed some of them before reaching their goals.
The source said that the Israeli attack resulted in the destruction of some buildings and wounding three fighters.
