Six dead after clashes with security forces in Somalia

At least six people were killed by security forces on Saturday in the Somalian capital Mogadishu.

A rickshaw driver and his passenger were shot dead in the early hours of the morning. That led to a demonstration against the shootings that descended into violent clashes with protesters throwing stones at police and burning tyres in the streets.

The security forces responded by opening fire and another four people were killed according to witnesses.
